MY FUTURE


I wish and pray
I dreamt and saw
A long journey that makes me scared
I wonder when it would come
But I say, I must be calm, patient and right
Well, I have a plan, I know the way and I shall follow
It seems so long, it seems so far
But I shall get there
I have tried, pursued and followed
But it seems slow
Though, it is common and everywhere
Let me say, I will be, I shall see and it shall come
Dogged I am agile still
But all seems the same
Lots have seen
Many tried to assassinate my zeal
Still I remain rocky
Severally, water flows, many a times I sob
Illumination that I see keeps me up
The sun that I see keeps me pumping
One day, someday, it shall come and all shall end
Then my chicks would dance
My eyes would talk
My lips would move
And all would rejoice
I deserve to refresh
Swimming in my wants
And looking at my score
With all zest and copious enthusiasm
When my dreams unlock
I shall call, I shall invite and all would drink
Thus, I shall be consistent
I shall endure, persevere and perform with all humility
I wait for that day, the day all shall reveal, the day locked shall be unlocked.
