VANITY
What a world are we in
We pursue, we run
We desire, we want, all upon vanity
After all you acquire, after all you have then you go
Life is a field, it is in and out
Why do we tend to desire all that the world entails, since one day we will leave all we have got and travel, travel to a place we have never been, travel to a place you will never return
It was a day, a sad day, a day in the history of my country a day that would always be in the memory of lots
A group of soldiers went to war they went to protect the integrity of another country
They fought and fought
There coming back was fifty, fifty they fought and still loved
After months, they returned, they came back to their country, full of joy and happiness
Not conversant of the about
But, there was a catastrophe waiting for them
They thought all was over
Coming back to their unit envisaging to be disseminated
On the way, in the truck
There, then, it erupted into a boisterous cacophony
They were flummoxed, perplexed and naïve of the about
It was an eruption
Startledly they were in an horrendous situation, they thought of their past they wished it was not so
They struggle, but they succumb
It ……. Over them, and they begin to decrease, melting into something preposterous
It came, it was, it was the end a grotesque end, and they fell
That was all
Life is vanity upon vanity they were gone to return.
May there soul rest in peace
We all know not our end
Mementromori!!!
